It outlines our commitment to a person’s rights to be treated with respect and dignity and to be safe and protected from abuse. Hot Weather Policy |
Wrestling SA Inc is committed to the Office of Rec. & Sport Hot Weather Policy. This policy gives guidelines for Sports activities in hot weather on issues such as athlete safety with respect to Heat Exhaustion, Dehydration, Heat Stroke. This policy can be viewed on the “Sports Medicine Australia” website.
The Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) is one way of determining the risk factor. The higher the WBGT the higher the risk.
